Let’s Play South Park Stick of Truth Release Date March 4 – We’re Playing it!

Let’s Play South Park Stick of Truth is coming to LetsPlaysAllDay, and we’re super excited about bringing you some South Park Stick of Truth gameplay the night the game is out. Robby’s plan is to get in for the midnight release and then run straight home and record several episodes for you guys.

Let's Play South Park Stick of Truth

With Stick of Truth being released on March 4, you can bet we’ll be pumping out the videos all night and into the next day and evening. You can choose from 4 different classes of character, and as the new kid in South Park, there’s a lot to learn and do, even from the 13 minutes of gameplay we’ve already witnessed. I found it hilarious and spot on with what the TV show offered. Even with all the delays, there’s a ton of hype surrounding this game, and frankly, I’d rather see it delayed to be made better than released early without polish.

This is shaping up to be the best game in the series and one of the best of 2014. Will it live up to the hype? Come find out with me on March 4 around 1AM EST when we release the first video here:

We posted a video on Let’s Play South Park Stick of Truth when the release date was pushed back, but the information still applies:

Let’s Play South Park Stick of Truth is going to be an amazing series, and I can’t wait to bring it to you all! My plan is to make the whole series live commentary and complete the game quite quickly; I know you guys want the best of everything, and I’m planning on making this the best Let’s Play South Park Stick of Truth on the internet. Make sure you tell your friends to check out LetsPlaysAllDay; it’s gonna be big.

Let’s Play Grand Theft Auto V and LPAD/2BG Update

Hey everyone! As most of you have seen, Bill’s Let’s Play Grand Theft Auto V series is getting a nice amount of hits over on LetsPlaysAllDay, and we really appreciate that. Here’s the first video:

We really hope you’ve been enjoying it a lot. Franklin is my favorite character so far, and I watch the videos just like everyone else. Bill has a great knowledge of GTAV and I think you’ll find that that’s what separates him from other commentators doing the series. As we go on, the parts will be edited a bit more and become shorter, but this is a series you can DEFINITELY tune into and ensure it will be finished. Let’s Play Grand Theft Auto V is hot right now on a lot of channels, but we feel like Bill will add that extra bit to keep you coming back. As for the rest, I’ve still got DeadPool nearly complete over there and will return to doing some of that this weekend, doubling up on videos for you guys. Our goal on both channels is always at least a video per day, and we hit that goal better than nearly any YouTubers around. In addition, we have Mario Kart Double Dash, which has really been kicking some butt as well. You guys really supported that and Tony Hawk’s Underground tremendously, and we haven’t forgotten that. Look for some more dual play, dual com domination very soon. It’s just Let’s Play Grand Theft Auto V this week, but more will be coming.

We’ve got a LOT of stuff in the works for LetsPlaysAllDay after that, including full Let’s Plays of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs. Here’s the catch…we’re playing those games at MIDNIGHT. You can expect that on launch night, Bill and I will be dropping bombs. We’ll try to be one of the first channels with gameplay/walkthrough/Let’s Play footage of those games as well. It’s an exciting time for LPAD, and I encourage you to get on board now—it’s gonna be a wild ride in from now through November!

Now that we’ve covered LetsPlaysAllDay, I want to move to the Two Brothers Gaming side of things and inform you a bit on what has been going on, and what will be going on there. Today, Shady00018’s “Baller I.D.” series will feature Hu the Journeyman, and we couldn’t be more excited about that. Hu is a staple of 2BG, and we want to make sure you guys know–this year, Hu will be the FIRST player we create in NBA 2K14, and again, we’ll be playing from shortly after midnight until the wee hours of the morning dropping TONS of videos. So why is Hu going to be the first player? You’ll have to see, but I have a good reason for it (hint: my point guard isn’t going anywhere, just getting…more of an identity). The first thing we’re doing in NBA 2K14 though, is My Team. You know we love it, and with the Developer Insight on My Team dropping today, there’s nobody more excited about that than me. I’ll be opening packs left and right and playing games shortly after midnight, so again, subscribe now and don’t miss a thing.

That leaves us with NBA 2K13. Bill will be dropping a few Classic Teams videos and one final Pacers Association video before October 1, and I’ll be finishing my Road to Olajuwon, Hu the Journeyman, and My Team series. After that, there will be a few mixes at the end, a few montages, if you will, to hold you over. Stay tuned, as there’s a lot going on with both channels. Thank you guys for your support, and be sure to message us on YouTube if you have any questions or comments! Oh, and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter:

Let’s Play Yoshi’s Island 2 and Yoshi’s Island 3DS News

Posted on: May 1st, 2013 by admin No Comments

Yoshi’s Island 2 is all about progression, and playing through it again made me realize how great the game is in that regard. In my experience, each level becomes harder on top of each world. I’m about through playing the game for the umpteenth time and I’ll probably play through it again just for fun after I complete the official Let’s Play Yoshi’s Island 2 stuff.

Some detractors have said that the game’s difficulty is a turnoff. I disagree strongly. The leveled/tiered aspect to the game is what keeps me coming back for more. You don’t want to put the game down for fear of being out of practice or rediscovering the next awesome innovation that’s paved the way for the last 20 years or so of gaming.

As I type this, I’m heading into the last world and having just as much fun (while admittedly dying more often) as the first level, if not more. I like to think and apply what I’ve learned, and the gameplay in Yoshi’s Island 2 makes me even more excited for Yoshi’s Island 3DS to come out—whenever that may be. Apparently there’s still no announcement for that. I’ve seen some gameplay videos over at GameXPlain and I cannot WAIT to get going on that Let’s Play Yoshi’s Island 3DS. Here’s hoping the 3DS capture cards go down in price soon.

I’ve probably had more fun doing Yoshi’s Island 2 than any other Let’s Play so far, even though South Park Tenorman’s Revenge was fun. There will definitely be more coming in the future! Stay tuned to LetsPlaysAllDay for more Let’s Play Yoshi’s Island 2.

Let’s Play Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island – Extra Thoughts and Background

Posted on: April 24th, 2013 by admin No Comments

Yoshi’s Island 2 is one of my favorite SNES platformers and games of all time. It serves as a prequel to the original Super Mario World and chronicles Yoshi’s quest to reunite Baby Mario with Baby Luigi by rescuing him from Kamek, the  Toadies, and Baby Bowser. The graphics give a hand-drawn impression and are in fact the exact opposite of what Nintendo originally intended the game to be. They wanted it to be pre-rendered graphics similar to Donkey Kong Country, but Miyamoto intervened and instead submitted the game with the graphical structure we see today. I enjoy the game for its graphics and subtle game design. Each level builds upon the last and teaches you more skills and concepts without being repetitive or handing out useless information. At its core, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island is a game that anyone can pick up, play, and enjoy, but still a great enough game to offer the challenges hardcore gamers crave. THAT is the sign of a great game, and that’s why I hope you enjoy this Let’s Play of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Let’s Play Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island was quite simply a masterpiece.

Let’s Plays, All Day – Your Favorite Video Games With Commentary!

Posted on: April 12th, 2013 by admin No Comments

Let’s Plays, All Day

Let’s Plays, All Day is determined to give you the best commentary over video games old and new from a ton of different genres, from the latest Assassin’s Creed or South Park game to old-school Super Nintendo games like Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island and everything in between. The goal of starting LetsPlaysAllDay was for Bill and Robby to have a creative outlet to post videos that weren’t sports-related, which Two Brothers Gaming has quickly become known for. Robby came up with the name, and Bill uploads the most content on the channel. His Let’s Plays on the channel have included Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and he’s currently working on Resident Evil 4. He’s also a huge Sonic fan, evidenced by his Let’s Play of Sonic Adventure, with Sonic Adventure 2 in the works.

Robby and Bill team up sometimes for dual coms as well, with Dead Space being the main one. They wanted an opportunity to use the inspiration of channels like TheRadBrad and GameGrumps and really let loose with their full personalities, making it one of their favorite series. Bill generally plays in Dead Space, except when Robby gives him too much of a hard time!

Robby’s Let’s Plays included Tony Hawk HD (XBLA), South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge, and he is currently in progress on Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and South Park: Stick of Truth are in the works.

The goal of LetsPlaysAllDay is to give us two channels that, between them, we can upload any sort of content we like and commentate for the people to enjoy from all different genres. As it stands, we’re near 1000 subscribers on LPAD and appreciate every one of them, uploading daily videos. We encourage you to check the playlists and entire channel out!
